What to do if you have cancer in the uterus? |
In Bangladesh, 3% of women suffering from cancer are cervical cancer. On average, 5 women die of cancer in the womb.
Women can have uterine cancer at any age. However, women between the ages of 6 and 9 are more prone to the disease. Again, women aged 5 or older may also suffer from uterine cancer.
The silent killer Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) is the leading cause of cancer in the uterus. Abnormally enlarged cellular follicles are called PK tumors as a result of irregular and uncontrolled cell division.
Cervical cancer is called 'Silent Killer'. Because of this disease many women do not understand the symptoms. Again, different symptoms appear but do not take long.
